Michelle was called to the bar in 2019 and was a public prosecutor for over 3 years at the Department of Justice in the Magistrates’ Court Team. During her time at the Department of Justice she has conducted many high court bails, magistracy appeals, plea and sentence, and advisory work.  She had exposure to a wide variety of crime at all levels of court during her time as a public prosecutor.

Michelle has experience in death inquest hearings at the Coroner’s Court as a Coroner’s officer.

Michelle was a member of the Child Protection Task force at the Department of Justice. Michelle also has experience in Juvenile Court matters.

Aside from practice in criminal law, she had experience in family law and other civil claims or disputes including but not limited to personal injury, contractual claims, probate matters and land related disputes, prior to joining the Department of Justice.

Michelle is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
