Cindy was called to the Bar in 2014. She regularly conducts criminal cases for both the prosecution and the defence. She has handled a range of cases which involve theft, assault, drugs offences, traffic offences, sexual offences, money laundering, and murder. She has also appeared in the Coroner’s Court as junior counsel acting for the deceased’s family.

On the civil side, Cindy has experience in personal injuries/employees compensation, family, probate, bankruptcy and winding-up matters. She became a HKMAAL accredited general mediator in 2016.

Cindy was appointed as Deputy Magistrate from January to September 2022.   

Cindy has served as a part-time lecturer at the City University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong. She is also a coach for the Mock Trial – Justice Education Project organised by Side by Side (formerly known as The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention).

Cindy is fluent in Chinese and English and has a working knowledge of Japanese (JLPT N1 level).
