Cindy was called to the Bar in 2014. She accepts instructions in both criminal and civil law.
Cindy regularly conducts criminal cases for both the prosecution and the defence. She has handled a range of cases which involve theft, assault, drugs offences, traffic offences, sexual offences, money laundering, and murder. She has also appeared in the Coroner’s Court as junior counsel acting for the deceased’s family.
On the civil side, Cindy has experience in personal injuries/employees compensation, family, probate, land, employment, insurance, commercial, corporate, bankruptcy and winding-up matters. She became a HKMAAL accredited general mediator in 2016.
Cindy has been appointed as part-time lecturer at the City University of Hong Kong and is a contributing editor of the Annotated Ordinances of Hong Kong. She also serves a coach for the Mock Trial – Justice Education Project organised by the Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong.
Cindy is fluent in English and Mandarin and has a working knowledge of Japanese (JLPT N2 level).
