Dorothy joined the Bar with prior experience in accounting, tax, finance and information technology. She began her career as an IT professional in consulting where she worked as a Project Manager at a leading global bank and an IT consultant in global consulting firms. She is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Dorothy served pupillage with Mr Lawrence Hui, Mr Jeremy Cheung, Mr Jonathan Ah-weng and Mr Kay Chan. She was also marshal to Her Honour Judge Thelma Kwan.  Dorothy is developing a broad civil and criminal practice and accepts instructions in all areas of work. She has a particular interest in matrimonial and probate work.

Dorothy has been actively engaged in pro bono work. She is a member of the Standing Committee on Pro Bono Affairs of the Hong Kong Bar Association. She is committed to advocating for those in need and believe in the power of the legal system to effect meaningful change and promote access to justice for everyone.

Dorothy is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She can provide written submissions and conducting hearings in both English and Chinese.
